Just because you are a Christian does not mean you can no longer laugh and must be serious all the time. The Christian life is a fun fulfilled life! Not boring! Let this song bring both laughter and joy!

Did Jesus Laugh?
I could not find a verse clearly stating…Jesus laughed. However, that being said Jesus was completely human and completely divine. In my spirit, I know without a shadow of a doubt Jesus experienced ALL the emotions that you and I do today.
To deny the fact Jesus never once laughed is denying a huge aspect of His humanity. How could Christ ever experience the depth of human sorrow or pain if He never experienced joy or laughter, right?
What about the story where Jesus turned water into wine? Back in Biblical times, they feasted and celebrated for days at weddings, unlike today.
Let’s also not forget that children flocked to Jesus. Kiddos loved being around Jesus so that alone tells me he had a sense of humor.

Best examples of laughter from Sarah in the Bible
So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?” The Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.” But Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.” Genesis 18:12-15
And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me.” And she said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.” Genesis 21:6-7
As you can tell the bible has much to say about laughter. Mostly good but some not so good. As Christians, may we be set apart from the world so that everyone notices not only our “laughter” but most importantly…where our joy comes from right?
This will open a door for the opportunity to share the gospel and for others to find true joy in Jesus Christ.
