Trusting God in times of uncertainty can be easier said than done at times, right? With biopsy scares and other life events, how do we trust God no matter what?
Please allow me to say thank you, for all your words of encouragement, since I did the blog post on why do I suffer. It can be hard to maintain a positive attitude in this forever season.
Your kindness speaks volumes, and to say that it’s helping you view things differently also. Praise be to God Almighty Friends!!! It’s Amazing how my Blog has grown, but I want to make something very clear.
It is only by God’s grace, and has nothing to do with Angie! I’m just a willing body wanting to obey God share the Love of Jesus Christ and help encourage others. I try to love God with all my heart even when it’s hard.

Trusting God in Times of Uncertainty: How Can You Stand Firm in the Faith?
I have had many questions from others wanting to know what the next steps will be concerning my foot. I had my MRI this past Thursday 21st.
It stated that I have an area of moderate enhancement that covers approximately 18mm. There is also a 2.8 cm long and 5mm deep area, that signals heterogeneous enhancement.
Now don’t ask me what any of that technical stuff means because this little hillbilly from Kentucky hasn’t the slightest idea. I just typed what the report said. I wanted to sound smart ya know. All I know at this point is what the report said.
It is unknown and unspecific what this tissue growth is. My Dr has already told me my next step would be to have a biopsy done. It can be depressing but I’m hoping to hear from her on Monday the 25th when that will take place.

Be Honest with your feelings
I’m not going to say that I’m looking forward to having this done because this would be a big fat lie! Just the thoughts of it are making me cringe.
The chemotherapy injections hurt fiercely and I was told that was a piece of cake in comparison. I vote to be knocked out completely but I don’t think they will do that!
I suppose I will have both legs locked down be biting down on something to keep from screaming and I will be gripping the table with all the strength that’s in me. That’s what I had to do with the injections.
I’m NOT big on taking pain medications, or something to help me relax, but I think this time, I will be asking. For some reason, I am extremely nervous about this procedure but God has a reason for allowing pain.
Accept God has a plan and purpose
I am human and I think I’d been better off if the DR hadn’t prepared me about it first. Once the results are back from the biopsy they’ll know what they’re dealing with and how to treat it from there.
I will admit that this whole situation is kinda scary. Working with cancer patients and hearing the words you need a biopsy is terrifying. Especially when the biopsy is thrown at you.
Not one of us knows what tomorrow may bring. That being said, this whole situation would be much scarier if I did NOT have Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
However, I’m a daughter of the Most High King God directs my path and the steps I take within that path.
You will never be alone
I’m just wanting to make a point of trusting God in times of uncertainty!
- If that were to happen would I turn my back on God? No!
- Would I blame God and lash out at the people around me? NO!
- Would I feel sorry for myself? I would hope not!
God will be faithful and good! I will still praise Him and shout His goodness over my life!
Job’s Story as A Reminder Of God’s Faithfulness
Job was a wealthy man living in a land called Uz with his large family and extensive flocks. He was “blameless” and “upright,” always careful to avoid doing evil. One day, Satan appears before God in heaven.
God boasts to Satan, about Job’s goodness, but Satan argues, that Job is only good because God has blessed him abundantly. Satan challenges God, that if given permission to punish man, Job will turn and curse God.
God allows Satan to torment Job, to test this bold claim, but he forbids Satan to take Job’s life in the process.

Don’t Lose Faith
Job receives four messages, each bearing separate news, that his livestock, servants, and ten children, have all died, due to marauding invaders, or natural catastrophes.
Job tears his clothes and shaves his head in mourning, but he still blesses God in his prayers.
Satan appears in heaven again, and God grants him another chance, to test Job. This time, Job is afflicted with horrible skin sores. Even during this, he’s still choosing to trust God in times of uncertainty such as this.
For this light momentary affliction, is preparing for us, an eternal weight of glory, beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
Job’s wife encourages him to curse God and to give up and die but Job refuses to struggle to accept his circumstances. In the end, he still speaks of God’s goodness.
I used Job as an example of trusting God in times of uncertainty because what an example he is right? If Job can go through all he endured and can still Praise his God! Who am I not to do the same?
