Who Has No Greater Love Than This for You?
Did you know that before you were even born, God knew you? According to the word of God, He chose you in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.
To put it another way, first and foremost, even before he made the world, God loved you and chose you in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes and there is no greater love than this.
Proof of No Greater Love Than God’s Love For You
Secondly, God proved how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that you might have eternal life through him. Greater love has no man known.
This is real love, and there is no greater love than this, not that you loved God, but that he loved you and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away your sins.
Agape Love
Agape is sometimes referred to in modern times as universal love, charity, or even altruism. Essentially, it’s the love inside us that we give freely to others—regardless of our relationship with them.
The whole idea of agape love is that you don’t need to even have met the other person before, but you still want to help them, cooperate with them, or do good deeds towards them.
In today’s world, there are numerous definitions of love, but most commonly love is viewed in a romantic way.
However, there is a much deeper expression of love that can ONLY be obtained in a relationship with God and salvation through Jesus Christ.
“Agape love” is love at the highest level. It’s so much more than our human eyes will see this side of eternity. Again, there is no greater love than this.
